Cheesy Ground Beef Quiche (6 Servings)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 deep dish pie crust, uncooked
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tbsp dried parsley or chopped fresh
- 3/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, shopped onion and chopped green bell pepper until the beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off excess fat. In a large bowl, combine the shredded sharp Cheddar cheese and flour. Stir the beef and vegetables into the cheese. Pour the entire mixture into the deep dish pie crust. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, evaporated milk, parsley, salt, garlic and pepper. Pour the mixture over the beef mixture. Bake for 35-40 minutes in the over. To serve, slice quiche into six wedges.
