Total Recipe Time:25 to 30 minutes

Combine ground beef, green onions and cumin in medium bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Lightly shape into four 12-inch thick patties.

Place patties on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered,8 to 10 minutes (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, covered, 7 to9 minutes), until instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into center registers 160F, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper, as desired.

Place burger on bottom of each bun; top with cheese and tomato. Close sandwiches.

Cook's Tip:To broil, place patties on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is 3 to 4 inches from heat. Broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into center registers 160F.

Cook's Tip:Cooking times are for fresh or thoroughly thawed ground beef. Color is not a reliable indicator of ground beef doneness.
